PROVIDING MYOTHERAPY TREATMENTS FOR WORKCOVER (SA) PATIENTS - Under the Remedial Massage category 

Treatment of Workcover (SA) patients requires a written referral from your GP or Specialist (not from a Physiotherapist or other Allied Health Practitioner).  The referral from your GP allows 4 (four) treatments from the Myotherapist (under the Remedial Massage category) including the initial consultation.  If at the end of 4 treatments there is no improvement, treatment must be discontinued.  If there is improvement, treatment can be extended up to 10 treatments.  After 10 treatments, you would be required to obtain permission from the Case Manager on a case by case basis.
