The Toni Moynihan Award (TMA)
The purpose of the Toni Moynihan Award is to recognise a member of the Myotherapy industry for extraordinary service to the profession and the health and wellbeing of the greater community.
In Memory of Toni Moynihan
‘The Toni Moynihan award came about in memory of Toni and her contributions to Myotherapy and to ensure her legacy lives on. Toni died on 2nd December 2009 after a long battle with cancer and will be missed greatly. Because of Toni’s contribution to her profession and the ways in which she touched so many people and helped them feel confident to follow their career of choice, the Board of IRMA decided to introduce a yearly Toni Moynihan Award for excellence and contributions to the profession of Myotherapy. Toni served on the IRMA Board for many years and passionately took on the role as Professional Development Officer for IRMA always striving for excellence in and for the profession of Myotherapy.’
