IRMA New Member Registration

Becoming a New Member of IRMA

Membership of IRMA is open to Myotherapists, Musculoskeletal Therapists and Remedial Massage Therapists (whilst completing their Myotherapy or Musculoskeletal Therapy qualification) who have completed an approved course of training. Please download the New Member Application Form or contact the IRMA office if you would like an Application form sent to you.

Remedial Massage membership is an interim level only for a maximum of 2 years whilst completing your Myotherapy qualification.

Please be aware that all New Applicants will be assessed for approval by the IRMA Board. The Board meets once a month and once approved, your application will take 7-14 working days to be processed.  All certified documents will need to be received by the IRMA Office no later than the first Tuesday of the month.

All documentation and your Licence/Passport need to be certified as a true copy of the original.

Please read the form carefully and complete all sections. Please contact the IRMA office for pro-rata fees, if joining between July - June of each year.

Are you a previous member with IRMA and want to rejoin?

The minimum level of qualification required for re-joining is an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy.  Depending on your time since last a current member, your application may be accepted under the Remedial Massage Category in the interim until you have accrued 15 Professional Development Points (PDP's), which include 3 points for a Dry Needling Refresher.  In this instance, you will  have 12 months to accrue the 15 points required, then your status will be upgraded to Full Member.
